The Li-Fire EV Fire Blanket is an innovative solution for controlling and eliminating electric vehicle (EV) fire incidents. As EVs become increasingly popular and battery issues within those vehicles occur more, your fire department needs to be equipped with the tools to combat this new type of emergency.
The Li-Fire EV Fire Blanket is crafted with proprietary FiberWeave™ technology, a combination of ultra-fine glass and silicone woven into a robust, heat-resistant fabric. Its pinch-welded and Kevlar-stitched seams have been rigorously tested to withstand intense heat caused by the EV’s lithium battery. This advanced design provides an effective barrier to contain flames, smoke, and toxic fumes, ensuring safety and mitigating risks.

The shelf life of Li-Fire’s products is typically 5 years, with proper care. For a maximum product lifespan, the blanket is best kept in a cool dry place. Blankets exposed to direct sunlight or frequent climate and weather changes may deteriorate faster, shortening the product's lifespan. We recommend inspecting the blanket annually for creases and damage to the fibers and storing it in a durable storage bag.
